Audience Intelligence for Apps, practiced as a craft

Not a buzzword stack — a repeatable way to hear which people your product already serves, and which claims your data cannot defend.

Three lenses we teach

Signal craft asks whether each event earns its place in the pipeline. Cohort reading restores time and context so averages stop lying. Ethical segmentation insists that labels remain explainable to the humans they describe.

Together they form Audience Intelligence for Apps as we define it at Workerscopegrid: instrumentation that supports decisions, narratives that survive scrutiny, and restraint where automation would harm trust.

Workshop participants sketching user journeys

Observe before you optimize

We start with inventory: which decisions already categorize users inside the product, even without a formal segment name.

Name the uncertainty

Every strong brief includes a limitation memo. If you cannot say what the model misses, you are not ready to automate.

Design for implementers

Schemas must be readable by engineers mid-sprint. Pretty diagrams that cannot ship are treated as incomplete work.
